Founded in 2020 and based in the heart of Bucharest, Asociația Popa Soare is a beacon of hope dedicated to uplifting and supporting the most vulnerable segments of our society—children, the elderly, and people with disabilities who are often overlooked or abandoned. Our mission is to ensure that every individual we assist can lead a healthy, dignified, and enriched life.
Our Mission
At Asociația Popa Soare, we strive to:
- Advocate for and defend the rights and interests of children, young people, the elderly, and people with disabilities.
- Support educational and developmental opportunities that help the younger generation reach their potential.
- Provide urgent assistance in the form of food, clothing, and medical aid to those in immediate need.
- Foster environments where the elderly and those with disabilities can receive care and support.
- Raise awareness and facilitate community involvement through various charitable projects.
Our Activities
From organizing charity drives at local centers for orphans and the elderly to facilitating educational programs and emergency relief efforts, our activities are diverse and aimed at providing comprehensive support. We also engage in building projects to create better living conditions for those we serve, ensuring that every initiative aligns with our core mission of helping individuals build a better life.
As part of our cultural and educational outreach, we proudly organize two significant festivals:
- Sinaia Guitar Festival: An annual event that brings together talented musicians and enthusiasts for performances, workshops, and competitions.
- Eduard Pamfil International Festival of Young Guitarists: This festival honors the legacy of Eduard Pamfil and fosters young musical talent, providing a platform for young guitarists to showcase their skills.
